For my book, I recreated the characters, cover and interior art from Howard Pyle's classic story called "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood". Although there are many different characters in the original book, I only picked the three most important ones to do a line-up and hero pose. Additionally, I changed the wording from Howard Pyle's version and made it shorter for my own version in order to have less text and open up more room for the illustrations which were intended to be the central focus. Unlike Howard Pyle's original story, my version includes twenty pages and each chapter is only one page or less than one page. I picked four double spreads out of the ten that I made in my storyboard and took them to a finalized version. Two were done in grayscale and the other two were done in color.
